Target Sports USA APEX Ammo-Any Good?

So TS is having a sale on their APEX Ammo, basically being discontinued, at a pretty decent price. Haven’t shot it personally so wondering if it’s any good. Several calibers available.

That price is regular price. It's underpowered IMO. When using external HP you need speed, and their 90 grain is doing 1200 fps put my tp9 sfx (box claims 1300 fps out of what I am sure is a shorter barrel than mine.

Its fancy target ammo for 40 cents a round. Accuracy is fine for defensive use. Does minute of steel.

I like they ship to MA but their closeout "sales" and deals they spam me with 3 to 4x a week are just their regular price.


When I'm feeling really annoyed with an email I order 25 boxes of ammo individually.

Yeah I passed. I went with a pack of Aquila that seemed much better rated and cheaper.

This.....Apex was more money than others for 9mm.

I bought the Remington brass stuff and magtech steel for when I may go indoors again this summer and can't catch all the brass.

That said I hate reloading 9mm.....

I have a bunch of the Apex 45ACP ammo. A buddy of mine sold his 45 and he gave it to me. He said it shot fine. I actually haven't tried it.
