DO NOT BUY ONE. I own one and purchased it for $650 new. I wish i had spent another $300 on something quality.
Pros-and inexpensive 1911 to get into, I've had Taurus handguns before and their make a "decent" product. good customer support.
Cons- The frame to slide fit is loose as a goose. The barrel to bushing fit is quite loose. The bushing to slide fit is equally as loose. The ambi saftey has fallen off twice. I will even let you shoot mine to see for yourself if you really want one. It shoots low and to the left. What else, oh, the bluing on the frame rails has worn off to reveal the machine marks. so much for polished as Taurus claims. It can't accept any aftermarket .22lr conversion slides unless they are modified.
BTW, PM me for more details regarding the one that you are thinking of buying from D&L and i will give you more info about that particular one.
