That looks awesome. I just ordered my second Saiga and I can't wait to get started on it. You have some great ideas which are beyond my capabilities.

Great job.

Thanks,

Don't sell yourself short.

You could make an almost the same gun with bolt on parts.

TWS Dog leg
MAA stock and stock adaptor
G2 trigger
Bolt on trigger guard
Fuglystick hand guard open at the front so you do not have to move the front sight.
Hogue Grip
Cera coat can be done with out baking (takes a week or so to cure) or make an apointment with Dan @ Silva coatings with your sand blasted parts and spend a couple hrs while he knocks them out.

If you have done one then just push yourself a little further this time.

Saiga 12 was converted by Red Jacket (prior to being famous) then I added parts and had it powdered as I was not happy with the finish.

Saiga 308 I built with mostly bolt on parts and modifying the parts I had.

Saiga 7.62 I went further as you can see. I do not see myself modifiying another gun to this extent. Time wise it is a little hard to justify.

Time start to finish including test fire prior to powdercoat. (guestimates)

12 = 5 hrs
.308 = 10 hrs
7.62 = 20-30hrs
