I have both a standard 229 9mm and a 226 Elite Stainless 9mm. The latter is heavy but it absorbs recoil a lot. The 229 is also quite easy to shoot.
If you want to come to HSC, you're welcome to try either. Just bring the HK45c when you come.
Personally, while I'd really like a P30L, I just can't stomach the idea of 10 round mags in one, so I'm not even going to try to find one
