At the suggestion of another NES member, Lawdawg, I bought and am reading a book by SGT, Rory Miller, entitles "Meditations on Violence - A Comparison of Martial Arts Training and Real World Violence", 2008
This book is not something that a complaicent person should read unless they are willing to think and consider change in a lot of things. The author is a corrections officer that has seen and been involved in a lot of violence and has written about it. This is not a how to do it book, but rather the mental side of coping with violence and a lot of suggestions that could very well help.
BTW, the second tag line below my signature is a quote from the book
Highly recimmended
