TX - Woman Shoots At Burglar Apprehended By Armed Neighbor

A homeowner in Moss Hill shot at a suspected burglar, who then jumped through a window to flee and was captured by a neighbor.

According to a report from Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call was received about 6:14 p.m. Monday, August 9, from a home on CR 2112 in Moss Hill.

The caller told police that she had come home to find a burglar in her house.

“She shot at him with her pistol, he jumped out of a window and was caught and held by a neighbor at gunpoint until a sheriff’s deputy arrived at 6:17 p.m.,” the report states.....

While the homeowner missed Tanner when she shot at him, he had cut his hand and arm on a window when breaking into her house and was taken to the hospital by EMS personnel.
