I'll be honest, there could be worse choices. I met her when she was the D1 CO. Her and her husband would kayak from Hospital point to Gloucester. Super nice and well respected. I have no issue with this nomination.
As you well know (I'm sure), women in armed services get a bad rap, and have a hard time advancing. Linda came through in a MUCH different CG than the one we have today - DOT Coast Guard - old school hazing, and for a woman in the officer corps, that sucks ass. Good for her.
When you wear full dress uniform with medals anything that’s a ribbon only (like a CAR) goes on the right. I guess the Coast Guard has a lot of those? How come she wears half her fruit salad on the right when in whites? Is it a medal vs ribbon thing specific to the CG?
I stick by what I said at the beginning of this thread. I don't think she was a DEI "hire" - I think she got holding the bag though.it's pretty clear, if you were placed in your position by Biden, as a DEI hire......you're f*cked

Has she done a good job? Or did she run the alphabet flag to the maximum under Biden?I stick by what I said at the beginning of this thread. I don't think she was a DEI "hire" - I think she got holding the bag though.

Anytime you paint with that broad a brush good people get caught in the crossfire.
