The Kel-Tec KSG is officially irrelevant (if it wasn't from the start). Pretty cool, at least for a novelty.

You missed the pumpkin shoot? We killed many zombie pumpkin using UTS 15. KSG also got several confirmed kill shot. [grin]

How does this make the KSG irrelevant? They are pretty much the same thing from what I saw...

I do like the option for automatic alternating magazines, but other than that they are bullpup pump action guns

True, but there are a lot of people who would take almost anything over a Kel-Tec.............

I own this gun and it is a lot of fun!!! We shot the UTS15 and KSG side by side at the shoot and both were a blast. If anyone wants to try it let me know and we can meet up sometime.

Oh and I forgot pictures or its not true......

I don't know much about 12ga but that seems like a nice gun, the alternating magazines are a nice touch. It looks like it is an enjoyable weapon to use and seems fairly versatile. I had thought about maybe a .410 for my first to get used to one, but this might be a follow up once I get used to them!

They retail for about $1200. I would buy one tomorrow except for the problem of being a left handed shooter. I contacted UTAS about the availability of left handed versions and although they do plan on rolling them out in the near future, they were hesitant about giving a timeframe.

Thats the nice thing about the Kel-Tec. If you can actually find one, they are ambi with the shells ejecting from the bottom.

As far as the comments on Kel-Tec making crap products, maybe in the past, but their new products are well designed and very innovative. I own an RFB ( ambi bullpup .308) and it is an excellent weapon.

FYI, I never clean my KSG. It's been to many NES shoot event with 100's rds (not keeping count as everyone shoots it) through it. Never choke up and it takes 2 3/4 and 3" shell happily. Keltec reputation on handgun might not be the best, but the KSG is an awesome shotgun.

They're already backordered as of last month when I checked last. Thing looks like one hell of a HD shotgun with Buckshot + Slugs. Bye bye mr. bad man. [laugh]

You can get a 12ga and shoot really fluffy loads if you want.

KSG Retail: $1197.00
UTS Retail: $1200.00

[rolleyes]

Doesn't make either irrelevant in any way, both are nice weapons.

KSG retail USED to be under $800 before they turned into a bunch of greedy pricks when they felt Feinstiens bill would single out their new gun.
UTS retail is still $1500 I believe.

You would be incorrect, that retail price is directly from UTAS.

I've handled a UTS 15.... am I the only one who finds them uncomfortable and awkward as hell? And about as attractive as a 2x8 (aka not at all)

Yeah, you may be the only one. [grin]
