Yesterday, I had the great fortune of stuffin' 3 big bags of ice inside a buck that my best friend harvested in the west end of Scituate; all 208 pounds of him.
Then not long after that, a bigger buck was spotted in his back yard. A 45 minute stalking and a view of him thru the heavy brush not 15 yards distant made it an "almost".
There's always tomorrow.
To top it all off, I came so close to whacking a huge doe as came into work this morning. Why I don't have hunks of hide sticking out of my grille, I can't say......It was that close.
At any rate, the grille will get fired up a few times a week for lunch as the winter drags on.....I can hahdly wait.
