I had the honor of joining my brother for his retirement ceremony yesterday. He will have just under 23 years of service on his last day. He went on to many combat tours to remember and I am thankful I do not have to worry anymore.

It is funny how insignificant my six years of service feels standing next to him. He was also awarded the order of st Maurice from the infintry association yesterday. My understanding is that it is a big deal but he is humble and did not make it sound that way.
