Has anyone attended the Vermont State Police Academy in Pittsford, VT? I will be attending in July and was wondering if anyone could speak about the "nuances" of the particular academy. Another forum member, in a separate thread, had said that it's more "old school" than Mass. academies. I'm not quite sure what that means, but that sounds appealing.
I have a military background, having served 4 years active duty in the U.S. Army. I'm fairly squared away and I've been doing a lot of running and general PT to get ready for the Acad. I've also been hitting the range a lot to brush up on my marksmanship.
I am very excited to attend the academy. I'm not too happy about those damn inverted chevrons worn by VSP, though.
