VT stores

I'm taking a trip from Mass to Burlington, and have all day to get there. I figured I'd take Rt 7 up to enjoy the drive.

Any "must see" gunshops on the way? Not really interested in buying anything unless I see something too good to pass up (watch there be a sale on everything I can't bring home), just wondering what the better stores to hit would be to kill a little time.

In Bennington you should stop at "Guns at Mobil". I try and stop there every once in a while just for the humor and some local beef jerky. Nothing more American than a gas station that sells guns. It is located near the Wal*Mart in Bennington on Rt.7. If you are going to go through Adams, MA (Route 8 which will bring you over to 7) be sure to stop at Pete's Gun Shop. Great guy (Tom - son of Pete) who runs it.
