Does anyone know a source(s) for these Walthers besides Earl's ... or used? His prices seem a bit high but maybe I'm off considering this is MA.

Maybe McElhiney's? Also check the Outdoor Message for at least one other shop (don't remember who) that has an ad saying they specialize in target pistols.

The prices for anything from Europe are through the roof these days, though, and Earl's might be as good as any. They're great guns, but... that great? (They were pushing towards $2k last I looked.) Earl does sell used stuff as well, though.

Every once in a while a GSP turns up used on NES. I think the going price here for decent used guns is $1k or so, but with a lot of variance.

I think Earl's prices are pretty much the going rate for new guns. Used ones turn up from time to time but not with any great frequency - there just aren't that many of them out there to start with. The Pilkington site (targettalk) is a good place to check, and you could always post that you're looking for a used one and see if that scares anything up. I have a couple of GSPs and like them very much, though if I were starting over again I think I'd go Pardini (slightly cheaper, but still big $).

There's an ad for an SSP (private sale) on the bulletin board in the clubhouse at Reading Rifle.

I even scribbed down the number, but that piece of paper disintegrated in the rain shortly thereafter. I'm not a member there (can't go back to check it), but if somebody else is and would care to grab it...?
