Neat piece of art, but otherwise a waste of a perfectly good 1911.

I guess I'm one of those guys... that doesnt like guns that cannot
be fired. (well, you could, but it would prolly kill the value)

With no real provenance, it is just another chunk of engraved steel.
The engraving is only fair, not outstanding, in style and execution.
A nice shooter/BBQ gun for 500-600 dollars.
The gun, ironically, would be worth near the asking price, without the engraving.
 
I assume if you're in the PRM you could'nt own it anyway. I don't think an MA dealer would transer it for you.

If it's C+R elegible thats probably the most obvious
end-around attack on that issue. I can think of a couple
more ways to legally "skin that cat" too, but I'll leave them
as an excercise to the reader.
