Only could be my luck. Completely disassembled my bring back matching k98 to take to friends house for a degreasing bath to rid caked decades old grease etc as has a trough to accommodate. Got home with box-o-parts Etc, and began reassembling. Got it all together, but realized follower was missing. Called Buddy to see if left there, but no go. Days go by, and after last snow storm I walked out to my truck and noticed something under plow blade. Lifted it up and sure enough was the follower, broken under weight of plow . Must have fallen out of box when got out of truck.... So now need to search the impossible, loose follower marked with eagle over 1, with random 1 under it with no serial.... F my life

Plow wasn't on day I dropped it as was found 3 days later. But ended up in one in million spot when plow was out on and dropped to park

What state is it in? Maybe post some pics.

I had a safety on a ‘42 K98 break off in transit. There was an original defect at the break with a visible hairline fracture. Sent it to Pullman and came back perfect. Freaking magician Kyle.

Good news may have perfect replacement or 2 found.

Don't think would be repairable as is bent, and the flat where first round rests cracked and pushed out of alignment. Should see if have ring footage that caught the reaction seeing it under plow... Bought a lotto ticket, and lost there too
