Ya I kind of want to try that for hog hunting. 220ish grain bullets. Although we don’t have a lot of wild hogs around here to speak of. And I’m not sure if that would still be a little underpowered.I bet suppressed it would be a lot of fun, especially if you have more than one tag in your pocket.
Edit: just saw that you mentioned you’re using tac TX. Great. That’s one of the best rounds out there for a number of different applications.

If I'm reading the regulations correctly CT requires .243 or larger for deer. Beyond that I plead ignorance.No one wants to keep the AR in 5.56/.223 for deer?
Works fine within the distance most of us in these parts will hunt deer. But I think some states require larger than 22 caliber. Could be wrong.No one wants to keep the AR in 5.56/.223 for deer?
