What else fires the M1 Carbine cartridge?

For some reason, I thought H&R and Taurus made .30 carbine guns.

Not sure about H&R but the Taurus is an 8 shot called the Raging 30.

So now you have no excuse! What you waiting for????

Ha. It was more about a side project with the cartridge that fell to the back burner but yeah.

I wonder if you could make an AR for it?

Not only could you, but Colt DID make one! I personally held it so I know it really exists. It was an experimental one with an X or EX serial number (something like X002 if I remember right). It is part of the massive collection that is consigned with The Armory in Woburn. I think its still available but I have no idea of the price. Looked like an A2 style as I recall.

My dad had a Ruger blackhawk in .30 carbine.

It was very loud and threw a nice fire ball. Lots of fun.
