Hello,

Many thanks, in advance, for any input. I am looking to clean out the gun locker and am considering selling a few pieces. I am in no real need to sell them, but figure that I would rather not have items on hand that I do not shoot regularly. Just wanted to get a feel for what price they would go for to take into consideration.

1 Colt Preban sporter lower complete with sling attachment points and collapsible buttstock

2 HK P7M13- green in good/very good condition- Only known issue is holster wear near muzzle end. Sent it into HK about 500 rounds ago, after purchasing it to have them give it a once over. I would sell it with:

-Four mags- two M13 mags and two M10 Mags (contacted HK and they orated that they can not state that they are compatible, since they were not designed for the M13, but that there are no issues with using the M10 Mags)
-One inside the waist band kydex blade tech holster
-One inside the waist band Alesi leather holster
-Manual
-M13 specific cleaning tools

3 Preban Norinco SKS- I do not know much about these, so can not give good guidance reference features. I shot it once a few years ago, and it did not have any issues. Appears to have a “chrome” charging handle. Poly stock. I would put it in good- a few dings on the poly stock and limited scratches on the receiver.

I'll give you $500.00 for the lot, buy you a beer and we'll call it a day....[cheers]

Obviously, the Colt pre-ban lower is going to have more added value here behind enemy lines - they're essentially a really nice lower anywhere else and their pre-ban status has no value. Here, I'd say $5-600.00 - especially if it was once a complete rifle, (and you provide proof).

The Norincos will be swallowed up by SKS Ray for his private Chinese army he's building....[grin] (I'd drop him a PM if he does not see this). I do think however, that without the original hardware, the tech-stocks are a value ruiner. I've seen guns like this for under $200.00

The HK is a nice package and you may find a good value-base for it over on HKpro.com
They're a bit poopie-heady over there, but there's some fanatical P7 collectors. If that is not a factory green paint on that gun, you may see a bit of a dip in value. If you PM KMM696, he'll likely work extra details to buy this from you, then I can be all jealous when we go and shoot it...[grin]

Damn, that's a pretty P7......and way out of my price range. I took a quick look on Gunbroker, and they look to be in the $1800-$2400 range. Not sure how much the mags and green finish affect value - where's Fooped?

Or, you could take MassMark up on his $500 offer - [wink]

I can't remember - did Colt ever sell stripped lower receivers, or did they only sell complete rifles?

Thanks all.

I am unsure if the lower was ever a complete rifle from Colt. I did have it on one of my other uppers, but I originally bought it as a complete lower.

Not a preban on the SKS, as the bayo lug has been neutered.

Present configuration, I'd put the value at $175 to $200.

Interesting- thanks! I received it from my uncle in 96. He said he had it for about 4 years. Apologize for the misinformation- not my intent, but I am no expert on these.

the hk, blue book has it @ 100% 1575 98% 1250 95% 1050.....plus extras. Then again they are getting some high prices on gunboker. The SKS may sell for more depending on what market you hit. OE wood stock guys like me I would offer you 125.00. The tacticool young guns might pay you more?
