i have a stainless steel firing pin, i wanted to know if a titanium one will increase accuracy or performance in my Bushmaster? anyone have experience with firing pins?
I would have to say no. I think the only gain from a Titanium firing pin would be reliability. but I fail to see how it would increase accuracy. But I am by no means an AR expert.

with the exception of a few grams of difference in weight the only benefit would be that you can say that you have a titanium firing pin. Even the full titanium BCG's show no benefit that I am aware of other than possibly needing less frequent lubrication (this however is debatable and I would not test the theory in my AR).
Some claim that titanium firing pins decrease lock time, which helps accuracy. Unless you are a top shooter I can't imagine it would make a difference.
The real advantage with a Ti firing pin is that you will decrease the chance of a slam fire because the pin is lighter then a ss pin it also will cycle faster inside the bolt.
All AR's with heavy firing pins can slam fire when you release the bolt on a live round. It dosen't happen as often as in the past however it does still happen.
