I'm almost sure that female police are trained to not engage with anything dangerous until their male backup arrives.

If you watch the video, the driver stopped, walked over to her, talked to her, and then the beating started as he was walking back to his car. Stupid SOB should have pulled up to chat window-to-window the way the cops do next to each other for hours on the road while "on patrol".

It is still Florida........ if this guy had ventilated a few of them Id think he'd be totally OK in a stand your ground thing....for sure with the cop sitting there doing shit..............he definately would be in better shape physically cause the other rats that didn't get hit would have scattered like dust in the wind instead of beating his ass with a bicycle.

There are some good female cops. The problem is that PDs have no mechanism to weed out those who clearly aren’t cut out for it.

Down here your seeing it in the news and they are at least investigating or questioning the response....this is in Miami, but FL is still highly R. If this happened in Ft Myers...likely cop wouldn't be riding a desk today.....she would be fired on the spot.

Up there......Im sure it would have been scrubbed from the media and they would have done nothing to the cop as her reaction to the situation is the desired response that northern liberal big dump cities want from their police force.

TBF, then they should go be firefighters or EMT's. They aren't FORCED to be police officers. There is no draft in the LEO community.
