Wife had me pull the trigger on a new Dillon 650XL to get into reloading since its becoming a real pain to find ammo (and we wish to really get into shooting).

Now hopefully it wont be to long for the package to arrive.

Got the 650XL, Digital Calipers, 9mm Dies (Carbide) and the "Way it Should Be' Package from Brian Enos shop.

Going to order the rest of the stuff next week.

besides the Dillon dies what other dies can I use in the dillon press? The wife and I were hoping to also reload her 30-30, my .270 and even start giving her dad some custom loads for his 300 Win. Magnum.

The 550 & 650 take standard size dies so you can use whatever you want. The square deal is the one that takes proprietary dies that only Dillon sells.

Small update.

Got email from Joni at BrianEnos.com and found out that my Digital Calipers have USPS Priority mail and the rest of the press will be shipped by Thursday via FedEx ground. She said it should be here in 5 days! So I should be expecting my calipers any day and the press come between Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

The wife and I have already started to collect the .223/5.56N brass from the range, and will be doing 9mm and .45ACP as well in the future.
