hi guys
i have a friend looking to get rid of an old winchester 94. i'm trying to help him put a price tag on it but i don't know much about them. i know some of these old rifles have little details to can hurt or help that price
seems to me its' a basic 30-30 carbine. full length mag tube, serial 39839XX dating it back to 1974 if that web site was right.
is there anything i should be looking for that would be a distinguishing trait? also i don't think this was ever fired. it's tight and in pristine condition. i think he bought it for show. he doesn't have any of the original packing with it.
