I'm going to install the Apex sear on my M&P - If anyone here has the sight pusher tool and would be willing to let me borrow I'd appreciate it - Also any tips or tricks associated with the install would be great too.

Thanks for looking.

You don't need to remove the rear sight for the sear swap. The sear is in the lower frame assembly, you shouldn't have to do anything with the slide assembly.

If you get the Apex Ultimate Striker Block for M&P then you will need to remove the rear sight to swap those parts out. Also if you got the Apex USB part, it comes with a little sight pusher which works AWESOME. Doesn't mark up the slide or the sight at all.

I recently put the Apex sear and "free state" spring into my MP9c.

The combination is an incredible improvement but leaves a little left to desire.
The only resistance in the trigger pull is the striker block. I plan to upgrade to
the block that Apex offers.

I used the Burwel pdf to help me with reassembly.

Goodluck. Small pieces and springs suck.

Actually, the tool is not supposed to be a sight pusher - it's designed to keep the disc and spring in place when removing the sight.

"This simple tool holds the M&P firing pin plunger cap and spring in place while changing rear sights turning a frustrating 3 hand procedure into a simple one person job."
