Just thought I'd share this. Beautiful peice. Leather has hand done stippling from the original owner, marking it as theirs. Got it out of a vet's place 4 years ago, different clean out. Just got shown it tonight.

Not mine, but it's cool.

I have that exact knife my Dad had in WWII US Navy. The leather and knife in much better condition. If you remember the game "hangman" it was cut into the back side of the sheath.

We are working on cleaning it up without destroying the patina. leather cleaner and some light polishing on the metal. It's already 10x better.

I am trying to dig around for a Shaw that was in the 4th division of the marines during ww2. I've only found one, a Lewie Shaw who passed away in 2020 sadly.
