You need my LTC for that!

They said enough people complained about this that the cashiers were told to only ask with ammo and mags now

Ever have to argue to get a dealer to take your LTC for a purchase?

I picked up a wide body 1911 lower at a well known shop. This lower does not include the grip, and is more like a rail assembly (the grip attaches to it, but this part is the gun). The shop had the item and put it on the counter. I asked for the paperwork to fill out, and was told "no paperwork, that is not a gun, it doesn't even have a serial number". I pointed out the number ("38SUPER") and was told "That is not a serial number, that's the caliber". I eventually managed to convince the salesperson that was a serial number (quite a feat of persuasion, since he was one of these people who knew everything ....).

He probably would have had a hard time finding the serial number on my 50BMG as well :).
