Anyone out there maybe close to Douglas have a 1/2x24 die I could use to repair threads on a barrel? I am putting a new rail on so I had to remove the old one that was pinned on the burs from the hole slightly rounded the threads over so the new comp gets really tight 1/2 way on. Rather than force it I figured I would give this a shot. I would only need it for 15 mins. I can do it on location and hand it right back to you. I am willing to pay a fee for the use of it if need be.
