I have a full box of Carroll bullets, 175 grain, semi-wadcutter, bevel base that I would like to load up. I can't find any loads for 10mm 175g. Anyone have any experience with this combination?

I was considering using 180 data, but have always been diligent about using exact specs on reloads. Thanks for the advice.

You should measure in inches not millimeters.

Rule of thumb if you use bullet data that is a little heavier than what you’re running your safe. If it’s OK to run that charge with 180 grain bullet, it will be slightly lower pressure with 175 grain bullet. All other things being equal. Seating depth/bullet length etc.

Its 5 grains off 180 and the lead mouse farts hes probably planning on are likely way below 10mm limitations.
Wow. That was harsh. 🥺 😂

I was aiming for around 1100 ft/s which seems reasonable for a SWC. Hate to waste a full box of bullets.

And thanks for reminding me on in. vs mm. I was looking for the 10 not the .40.

Yeah the 10 is fine but in the US we’re used to knowing we need .401 not 10.17mm
Also MM designation is usually a round about number. Same as caliber.
When reloading we need to be accurate within less than .001”

9mm is .3543” that wouldn’t work for reloading
Lots of other cartridges are off from their common names.
38 special is a .357” so on.

We tend to be pretty picky with terminology. By We I mean myself and my 4 other reloading personalities.

Now if that’s an accurate caliper and you do indeed have a .400” bullet you might get leading because it might be undersized for your barrel.

I would shoot a mag full and check the bore before you do a whole range session.

You might know all of this and I’m just rambling on.
