$25.00 per shooter
Targets: Running Lion, Standing Elephant, Rising Buffalo
Prizes: Trophies awarded for highest score on each target stage, plus High Overall, Runner Up, High .375 class, High Scoped Rifle, R.I.P, Ladies and Juniors. Only one trophy per shooter.
Rules: African Dangerous Game Rules apply! Minimum Cartridge is .375 H&H Magnum - this means the minimum caliber is .375 AND minimum "factory published" muzzle energy is 4,000 ft./lb.!
No alibis for malfunctions - just like real big game hunting.
while shooting, one hand MUST be on the forearm.
Full power Ammo ONLY. Reduced loads will result in disqualification.
Extra points are awarded for cartridges with "factory published" muzzle energy over 5,000ft./lbs. (.458 Win. Mag. and up) And double rifles.
No extra points awarded for ported or compensated guns.
So dig out your elephant gun and 20 rounds of ammo, and come join us for a day of fun on the scorching Sullivan "Serengeti". This is one shoot that is as much fun for the spectators as it is for the shooters!
Don't own an elephant gun? We have a .458 Win. Mag. that competitors may use - a $25.00 dollar fee will be charged for the Ammo.
