1873 Restoration

Aren't most of those "resto" YT channels fake????
worse than fake. They take old guns and douse them in a mixture of vinegar, salt, and hydrogen peroxide. This mix of chemicals can make 20 years worth of corrosion happen in 1 day. No exaggeration.

That 1873 having paper stuck to the corrosion seems odd. The area under the foregrip would be the most corroded in a "leaking barn" from trapping moisture against metal. It's in the best condition out of the gun. A lot of the gun appears to have grease on it. Like, old school black grease for bearings.

This French fry f*** does a great job in editing and keeping the videos pumping out.
