They are just fun to shoot. I have two of the ,one is a barrel with a stock,
that turns any 1911 into a rifle. The other one came as a rifle.

I have a model 1911 rifle but it doesn't look like that. It looks like a Swiss K31 and is in the same caliber. Most accurate military rifle I own.

The Marlin camp carbine always looked cool to me.

I have the barrel and a 15 round mag for that but never liked the stock because it was just a simple dovetail slot and the stock slid on and you had to turn a knob to tighten it.
There is a company now that has a Main Spring Housing that is a lot like the C 96 broom handle. And the stock slides up and clicks-in with a lever release.

The Marlin camp carbine always looked cool to me.

Too bad they didn't make many of them in .45, it's tough to even find one today.
I just search GunBroker, they have plenty of Camp 9's averaging around $800 bucks today, but not a .45 to be found.
