Well hello. First post on here. First off, I have very sensative ears so I had a question.

Would the sound difference be ALOT louder for the 36 than the 40?
I looked at the FPS and its only a couple hundred FPS difference, but I wanted to see what people had to say before purchasing.

Thanks.

Are you talking 22LR? If you're worried about the sound between 22LR rounds, you need better hearing protection.

I have found the high velocity rounds (lighter weight bullet) will have a much flatter trajectory but this only matters if you're shooting around 100 yards or so.

The noise is pretty much the same to me, there's a sharper crack to the HV rounds but you'd need a DB meter to actually know the difference.

You may want to look at sub-sonic ammo also. No report to speak of. Just get some ear plugs and forget about it.
