Walmart in Seabrook had 5.56 and Kittery trading post had .223/5.56

Walmart in Manchester had a bunch of winchester 5.56 55 grain ammo for 12.27 a box. You are limited to 3 boxes of ammo per person so bring a friend or 2 with you.

At over .61 cents each for 55 grain I hope that this is not reasonably priced. I picked up 3 boxes of AE 55 grain at 8.07 + tax .50 = 8.57 or .43 a round a few weeks ago. At Wal-Mart in MA I have always used a price per round to buy ammo last year it was .35 cents these prices are for brass with steel a little less

How much $ ?

Last time I was there he had Golden Tiger .223 for about $8 a box, with a 5 box limit. He also had .556 battle packs which I believe were around $150 (maybe less) for 200 rounds. There were a few others as well. He is maintaining a decent inventory by keeping the purchase limits in place, which I think is a good move.

He also had some Golden Tiger 7.62x39 for about $6 a box, with a 10 box limit.

I try to stop by at least once a week and buy my limit on one or two calibers. He also has some really nice .50 cal cans for $20 to carry your goodies home in.

Riley's has bulk pricing on those, sporadically, though for M193 they mostly have Federal in cardboard boxes on stripper clips.

Yep. And a lot cheaper than .60/round. Not good old days pricing, but more like $375/900 rounds.
