I would love patronize a smaller manufacturer.
Anyone want to start a company?
There was a guy in Mansfield. Qammo was the name i think. Is he still around ?
With your money. SureIt's hard to think of local/regional manufacturers like this.
I guess they have gone the way of the department store.
Fenix Ammunition out of Michigan is the only smaller player I can think of, because of Twitter obviously, lol.

Allen makes the best ammo you can buy. It's a bummer he's wound down so much. Used to be able to get 1,000 rounds of high end match grade 223 from him for $280. And you could bring your own brass and primers and he would make awesome custom loads. I still have a couple bags of some seriously stout and accurate 10mm he made me.
"Riches in the Niches" I see he already lists 8.6 blackout. Starting to see a lot of hype around that round on gun channels. Go on Ammoseek and if he can get onto something like that, only has like 4 competitors.Forming an ammo company is tough because being a "no name", its a race to the bottom to attract price sensitive customers.
One of the guys at our local club picked out "subsonic" as his niche and seems to be pulling it off, Subsonic Ammunition Specialists | Discreet Ballistics - and even managed to escape to Wyoming in the process.
