Has anyone ever run across info on reloading for 9mm + P? My current thinking is to take the max load out of a manual and adding more powder in very small increments while watching for pressure signs.

NO. Danger. Most max 9MM loads are a compressed load. Adding more powder could/may/will cause trouble. Even if the brass is brand new it could still split.

Accurate #7 has always been the best powder for max velocity within accepted pressure limits. Get their manual for further info.
