a pre-ban Springfield M1A Bush rifle. It has all USGI parts except the barrel. It has a Brookfield Precision Tool, M25 gas cylinder... goes along with the BPT scope mount I found a few days ago. It came with a USGI fiberglass stock but I stuck it a spare birch stock I have. I just put the Vortex Strike Fire on it... don't know if that will stay.

Here 'tis.


Time to order another 'dummy' selector to fill the holes in the stock. This guy is a lightweight compared to my two other M14s which have med weight barrels.

Perhaps this week. I've got to go through it and lube it. I will be replacing the recoil spring guide with a Sadlak (or perhaps a BPT if I can find one) along with the piston.
