Anyone build thier own AK from a flat? There appear to be quiet a few cheap kits available. Did you build your own jig? Where did you get it heat treated?

if you have the equiment it's not hard to build a jig,if i ever get my shop in-order i am going to build a few of them,there is no need to heat treat them.i have some kits i want to put together,plus a zillion other projects.check out quarterbore.net look under the ak47 theads,also go to gunco.net you will find a lot of info.now's the time to get a kit or two,they ain't going to get anycheaper,only go up.
