Order a new gas tube and pop it on. There's a lever on the front trunnion that lets you just remove it when you flip it. Make sure the piston's out first.

I’d also rather have a gunsmith mess with anything barrel or gas block related. But since OP quietly edited his post without further comment or elaboration, I’ve lost interest in this thread
