Any nylon 66 fans/collectors out there

I have pre 1968 nylon 66 brown. Nice little gun and in fine shape for its age. I cleaned it up and brought to the indoor range used remington target@ 1050fps no issues.........Question is how do you date the pre serial# models?
Also I did read about "DONT TAKE APART" I found it very easy to field strip and clean. I love how the barrel comes off, makes cleaning easy. I took a good look at the trigger group and would not take that down unless broken. A few of the springs in there look to be a bugger to reinstall.

I have a black one, my first gun. I bought it around 1979. Nice little gun, very light and thin. I ran thousands of rounds through it before I ever cleaned it. I remember taking the receiver cover off and then entire volume under that thing was packed solid with powder residue. The gun still worked like that but nowadays I keep it a little cleaner.

I also have a Apache Black/chrome model available to me? not sure of the age on that one.
