Anyone have a Quansheng UV-k5+?

For those that don't know this is a 2 meter/70cm handheld radio where a group of dedicated people have cracked the firmware on the device enabling the end user to install new firmware, essentially turning the handheld in a portable receiver with a lot of cool graphical features. Currently I keep a Yaesu handheld in my Jeep but I going to switch to the newer unit because it's quite a bit more powerful detecting radio signals across the spectrum.

With the firmware upgrade the unit can receive signals from 18-1300MHz and that's quit a range for a $30 handheld. All in with the radio and programming cable it came up to $40 and I think that's a lot of bang for the buck.

...well worth the small investment in time and money...
