Anyone Using SDR?

I started using SDR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software-defined_radio) and I am not finding anything interesting outside of what my normal scanner can get. Are there any interesting frequencies above 500mhz?

I realize this is not directly related to HAM but I figured this would be the best place to post.

I have a Fun Cube SDR for playing with and it is interesting, but my time is taken up with iDAS/Nexedge DV on 2-meters.

I need to finish a 40-meter Softrock Rx/Tx SDR kit. Something for when the weather turns crappy.
