I saw this Armalite AR10-SuperS.A.S.S. with Leupold tactical scope, etc. at A&J Sporting Goods, and thought you might like to see it.

I think the rifle alone lists for $ 3,078.00, and the Leupold Mark 4 M1 8.25-25 with illuminated reticle (custom shop) must list for nearly $ 3,000.00. Then there are the weapon light, laser, front pistol grip, etc. The sell price was marked "See us". Nice gun!

That seems a bit pricey, even though I own an Armalite AR-10T. God, for $6,000 you could go and get your Green card and buy an S&W76 or a Ruger AC556!

Sorry, I'd spring for a Sako TRG-22 and a Leupold Mark4. Then I would have a superior rifle and money left over for a lot of ammo.

If you wanted a semi-auto .308, you could always save a bunch of dough and get a FNAR and throw a leopold on the thing. One of my buddies in New Hampshire has one and swears by it... he claims is quite the accurate rifle.

That ar-10 is pretty sweet, though.

I called the A&J shop on this because I have been looking for an AR10-SuperS.A.S.S. for a long time. They told me over the phone the gun will sell for about $2700+/- and the scope is a 8.5 x 25 x 50 Leupold Mark 4 with an Illuminated recital, the price on the scope is around $1400 mounted leveled and bore sighted, I am not sure where the $3000 price tag on the scope came from and neither did they.... I live in Vermont so I am going to have to take a ride down. They said they would put it on law-away and send it to an FFL in my state. Time to start saving my pennies.

I stopped by A&J to leave my initial deposit when they opened last night.... I have not been to this shop in a couple months. If you have not been here or if you have not been there in a while you need to stop by, There are guns everywhere… The guys behind the counter could pass as comedians I never laughed so hard… I had to sit in one of their stools and just look and look and look there are guns hanging from the ceiling and laugh at them. They were building a “Glock Tree” they were telling me they just received their first shipment of 25 pre-ban Glock 22s, and more on their way.
They knew I came from just over an hour away, they told me if their hours don’t work for them call and set up an appointment so we can work with you one on one, call any time…
I can’t wait to get the Super SASS in my hands… This shop is worth the drive not just for the inventory and good bunch of people but the floor show was second to none…
