I know it has. A lot of shootyguns have gone way up in price. I still don't get it. I went thru my "I'm gonna home defend with a shotgun" phase. I'm well past it. 7rds of buck without a reload or 30 rounds of something with a quick reload.

Both are good choices. I usually have a 10.5 AR pistol, but I'm really aware that it will completely destroy my hearing if I ever use it. Should probably put some hearing protection on the shelf with it.

Well, assuming 00 buckshot and 9 pellets each- technically it's 63 62-grain projectiles from a single mag of ammo and in about 1/4 the time- so there's an argument for the shotgun.

First time I saw a 1301 they were $999 at shooters outpost. not sure if that was retail or their price. This was a long while back

I'm extremely happy with the A300 Ultima Patrol. I shot the 1301 and really like it, but the extra money wasn't worth it for me.

Yabut 9, 30 cal. projectiles with each pull of the trigger. That's quick reloading at its finest.

I do, but it's a new gun and I don't have enough rounds through it to consider it worthy of HD. My 5.56 pistol however has been to a class.
