Got the BCA for 265 with 10% off, plus ship and 15 dollar transfer fee. - comes with 2 KCI mags as well.
Frame is very nice in the hand. Probably one of the best feeling frames Ive felt. Definately the frame for smaller hands its really nice and slimmer than most others. Gen 4 mag release which is on point. Nice Frame really. The Bear Hair may seem gay but it's a good grip.
Slide is what you'd expect from a 265 dollar Glock. Not bad but blocky, no machine marks though and window cuts well done, finish is a standard blue type or something not really coating. Wish they didn't have the windows on this one, just wanted a regular slide. Slide is tight as a drum on the frame, no slop, no movement whatsoever side to side......mag in, or mag out, push on the front end...no bends no dips....fxcking impressive really. My glocks and rxm have a ton more slop than this gun.
Trigger is what I would call OK. Better takeup than a glock, but heavier. Sights are steel but have the gay green glow in the dark dots.....if the gun runs Ill replace it with a front night sight. Not sure I'll change the rear out. Holster not sure yet I think I just need to open the screws up a bit.....but odds are im keeping it setup for my Glock 47. This gun is really gonna be a bug out bag or tackle box shitter.
Got a few SCT fully built frames in for 50 dollars each on sale, and the PSA dagger upper FDE threaded barrel SW 6 upper that I got for $190 on sale.
It made one damn nice G19. Very nice crisp trigger with no takeup. Great feel on the frame once its in the hand. Fits in my holster no problem. Probably the only complaint about this frame is the mag release. Ill be making one more of these with a Dagger with the carry cuts.....right now they are on sale with the Holosun (I need anyway) for 420 bucks complete. That will probably be my new carry piece if the one above runs 100%.
My third and worst buy was a Ruger RXM, been looking to get one anyway. Ass Pro had 10% off and I had a bunch of points to use up. I used half of them and I got if for like 100 bucks. Frame is not as nice as either of these guns above, its OK. Trigger sucks and is mushy, long reset. 2 Magpul mags, which are OK. BCA mags are FML and better.
Sights are good. Finish quality obviously better than BCA but not really any better than my Dagger top. Tried to put RXM top on the SCT lower....its a no go....something is hitting towards the back....a little afraid to slam it on there...but that may be all it needs as its supposed to work I think on gen 3 frames.
Gonna run the piss out of them and see what happens.
