I made another batch of lard the other day. My lard container was already full so I poured this batch into a glass jar. I noticed I had seperation. The bulk of it is the creamy colored stuff I'm used to. But the bottom is totally clear. I can't find any info on this. What am I looking at?

I could have sworn I read something about clarified beef fat. That it would clear. But I'm having my doubts.

I will get to the bottom of this... haha
I don’t think it would separate though. If it’s clear it’s still going to go cloudy when cold
Poke a knife into it and see if you can pour off the water.
