You have to push the button on the right side and turn the lever down on the left side. I'm no weakling, but I can't push the button in far enough.Pics might help. Or reading the manual again.
Ha, yes it is, no mag trigger pulled. The gun is new and I know on some past firearms these things take a few times to get them loosened up.Alrite well it’s pretty straight forward, so don’t be insulted by this but I gotta ask, is the chamber clear?
Could be a small burr stuck on their somewhere throwing off it’s ease of disassembly.
But you're spry enough! I figured you would go with Traci Burr!
Don't you need to pull the trigger like a glock to get it off? Or am I atarded

Post #18 shows the A1. As well as Post #8.That's weird because the instructions in the online manual say to lock the slide back first. I'll try it that way. That is the 1st APX not the A1 that I have.
I just can't get myself to fire a gun that I haven't disassembled/inspected/lubed first.I'll just go shoot it a bit and see if it loosens up.
Got it thanks

Push in that little button if you don't want to do the trigger pull.
Then I grip it like this
