Beretta Model 92F

I have a Beretta 92F and would appreciate anyone that knows the serial numbers and dates of
manufacture. My S# is D01625Z and was purchased new in 1987. I would like also is this mod.
the exact model that the Gov. adopted? I have not fired the pistol and it remains new in the box.
I have searched most places and the serial number does not show up! It was made in Italy and
has Beretta USA on the other side. The number given above is a zero, not a letter. Thanks!!
