I just received the 3rd revised and expanded edition of this book by Steve Kehaya and Joe Poyer (North Cape Publications) from Tapco. It was short money, $15.95, I think.
I really like this book a lot and would highly recommend it. No doubt most, if not all, of the information in this book is available on line. However, since my copy now resides in the reading room (i.e. the can) I have a wealth of information in a handy concise place for my daily perusal at a leisurely pace.
There is a load of general history and info, as well as, specific info by individual country of manufacture and accessories and parphenalia. More information then I would have believed existed. A great read for any SKS enthusiast IMHO.
