This projects started out as a NIB Colt Series 70. The idea was to build a gun for a Texas client who wanted the gun to be a family heirloom which could be passed down to his sons. Lots of new parts and features. Also a matching holster, mag pouch and belt by Exodus Leather and grips by Jon Huff. The first Colt the client send was not in good enough shape for this project so I made it a truck gun for him- photos to come. I like idea of putting the family brand on the slide- a nice touch. All the tack is from his family.

What did you do to the hammer? Is that just a bevel you did in-house, or does someone sell that?

It's a one off my friends make. I don't think they are sold by anyone.
