You can also buy a kit and build it yourself.

Anyone have a link to one of these build kits? I have a NES frame and slide from a group buy years ago and I'd like to start doing some work on it myself. If I had the money I'd have it built, but not in the cards right now. So, maybe a parts kit is a better way to go.

Just in case you don't know, every part on a 1911 has to be hand fit.
