Buying a 1911 frame in MA

Is it Legal for me to buy a stripped 1911 frame in MA? If not are there any companys that are MA legal that sell stripped frames?

Yes it is legal to purchase and for an FFL to sell you a stripped frame.

Most won't do it, some will. Ask around.

Please Do NOT post any names here, they will be deleted. At least our old AG took info off the Internet to run his stings and shut down vendors who used to sell into MA by threats of legal action.

A big +1 to Len's advice... it's doable but you have to find an FFL willing
to transfer.
